Most unusual since the figures carved into the leather are sculpted and in relief and the leather panel itself is also molded around the shape of the head.  

Most of the skulls are also painted on the sides by Shannon Farnsworth to compliment the carved leather.

It is our way of "reincarnating" these beings into another powerful art form.

MAGPIE STEALS BUFFALO SPIRIT - On this buffalo skull transformation, this single piece of leather down the front has been carved, sculpted and painted.  One bronze painted horn tip is  turquoise and the tip of the other horn is not - the magpie is holding a turquoise stone in his mouth that he has "stolen" from the buffalo.
