This past September, Lisa and Loren Skyhorse traveled to Mongolia to establish three leather working co-ops for nomads, displaced and unemployed Mongolians. Mongolia is the only nomadic horse culture in the world so leather working perfectly dovetails into their lives--they needed the tools and skills which we provided.

Lisa and Loren spent a month traveling to the most remote regions and finding their students eager, appreciative, and talented.

We are in the process of building permanent workshops in Mongolia to provide ongoing venues for the work and sale of their leather work.
